Advanced Care for New Beginnings
At Dolphin Hospital, we are committed to providing advanced care for babies requiring intensive care at the beginning of life. Our Neonatology Department upholds the highest standards of care for newborns who are premature, critically ill, or born with special medical needs. With a dedicated team of skilled neonatologists and nurses, we deliver personalized, expert care in a safe and nurturing environment.
Understanding Neonatal Care: Lifeline for Our Little ones
When newborns face complications at birth, neonatal care steps in as a life-saving bridge. It combines advanced technology and compassionate expertise to give every baby the best possible start. Premature birth, low birth weight, or complications during delivery can lead to critical medical needs. This is where neonatal care steps in — a specialized branch of medicine dedicated to newborns who require intensive support to thrive. Neonatology not only saves lives but also sets the foundation for a healthier future by addressing the most delicate phase of human life with precision, compassion, and expertise.
Our facility is equipped with a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) — the most advanced level of neonatal care — capable of managing complex and high-risk conditions. From extreme prematurity to life-threatening infections and congenital disorders, our NICU is designed to provide continuous monitoring and treatment for even the most vulnerable newborns.
What Is a Level III NICU?
A Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is categorized into levels depending on the complexity of care it can provide. A Level III NICU, like the one at Dolphin Hospital, is one of the most advanced care units for neonates. It is equipped to care for premature, underweight babies, or those with critical illnesses. Level III NICUs are staffed by neonatologists, nurses trained in neonatal care, respiratory therapists, and other pediatric subspecialists. They offer life-saving interventions such as mechanical ventilation, advanced imaging, and surgical care when necessary.

Our Key Neonatal Services Include:
- Level III NICU:- Equipped with cutting-edge technology to manage premature babies, low birth weight infants, and those requiring ventilatory and intensive medical support.
- High Frequency Ventilator:- For newborns with severe respiratory distress, our high-frequency ventilation system offers gentle yet effective breathing support, minimizing damage to delicate lungs.
- Extreme Premature Baby Care:-We provide specialized care for infants born before 28 weeks of gestation, focusing on survival, development, and long-term outcomes with utmost dedication.
- 24/7 Neonatal Specialist Availability:- Our full-time neonatologist is always available on-site, ensuring immediate expert intervention when every second counts.
- Portable X-Ray and Echo Machine:-Bedside diagnostics like portable X-ray and echocardiography allow us to assess and manage critical conditions without having to move fragile babies from their incubators.
At Dolphin Hospital, we combine advanced medical technology with the human touch. Parents are supported every step of the way, with transparent communication, emotional support, and involvement in their baby’s care plan. Our goal is not just survival, but a healthy and thriving future for your child.
Meet the Team Behind the Care :- The Doctors of Dolphin Hospital
Team description
Our neonatology team consists of board-certified neonatologists, neonatal nurses, respiratory therapists, nutritionists, and lactation consultants. Every member plays a vital role in ensuring the well-being of our young patients. Our team collaborates closely to tailor each baby’s care plan, focusing on immediate medical needs and long-term developmental goals. We follow evidence-based practices and are continually trained in the latest neonatal protocols to ensure optimal care outcomes.
Supporting Families Through the Journey
Our approach extends beyond medical care. We offer counseling, regular updates, educational resources, and dedicated support to families throughout their NICU journey. Parents are encouraged to participate in daily care routines such as feeding, kangaroo care (skin-to-skin contact), and decision-making discussions. This involvement not only supports bonding but also empowers families during a stressful time.
Focusing on Outcomes and Future Growth
At Dolphin Hospital, we continuously track and review patient outcomes to ensure the highest standards of quality and safety. Many of our NICU graduates go on to live healthy, thriving lives. As part of our long-term care philosophy, we also provide follow-up clinics for high-risk babies to monitor their developmental progress and support their transition to regular pediatric care.
